Graci and Bobbi

We have had our adorable kittens for one year now and they are definitely running the show. And we all love on them. Both kittens are so good with all the kids we have running around. Bobbie is half the size of Graci and a little skittish but a snuggler with loud purrs! Graci loves to sit with us and sleep under the sheets. She is huge weighing in at 13 pounds! Beautiful blue eyes even if they are a little crossed-eyed and white-gray-black fur. Just a few pics of our girls.

CCAA Matches Aug 16, 2006

The CCAA matched families with LIDs of May 11-May 15, 2006....we are finally NEXT!! Next meaning next month-we will receive a match (or referral) and finally see a picture and learn about our daughter from China. Travel to China is usually 6-8 weeks after that so late Oct/Nov. I will definitely be giving thanks once we are holding on to her!

A sign...could our little one be in the next set of matches

Chinese folklore believes ladybugs bring good luck. If waiting for a match with China and you see a ladybug, your match is very soon. For me the sign for Taylor was when Charlotte on "Sex and the City" received her match with her Chinese daughter. I remember sitting in my family room crying my eyes out. Just this evening while watching M*A*S*H, a little Asian baby is brought to the doctors for help....this is our sign that we are close to our little one. It is a personal feeling that is sometimes difficult to explain to others, but real just the same.
Could next week be our math or next month? It feels great just to be able to say even that!!

Taylor's thoughts on Kissing

Taylor and I were snuggling at bedtime last night and she made a pucker face ready to kiss....but not mommy! I told her that is how mommy & daddy kiss. She asked when could she kiss like that and I said after high school....she then said, "Well, Troy and Gabriella kiss like that in High School Musical and they are 16 years old...". I then asked if she really needed to kiss like that or could she just wait, and Taylor replied, "Oh, I really need to mommy!"....be afraid, be very afraid!
